Gary Eves, FCCA - Manager Accounts and Business Tax Team, websters
My role is to manage the team delivering accounts and business tax advice to our clients who are in businesses. My personal area of specialist is in owner managed businesses. I enjoy the challenge of being able to help them make improvements in their business not just preparing accounts at the end of the year.
It is very rewarding being able to bring in advice from our in-house specialists to be able to help a client with a complex problem. This could be specialist tax advice, help drafting a sale agreement or arranging a pension
The majority of my work is about preparing annual accounts for clients and advising them on how to interpret the accounts to understand how well their business is performing.
Peter Howard-Jones MA (Oxon) FCA CF DipPFS - Managing Director, Peter Howard-Jones Ltd
Peter is a science graduate of Oriel College, Oxford and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA). He holds ICAEW’s corporate finance (CF) qualification and was a founding member of the ICAEW’s Corporate Finance Faculty.
In 1988 Peter set up a Chartered Accountancy practice in Cambridge, building up the practice and implementing a merger with another mid-sized Cambridge firm in 2007. In 2009 Peter established his niche audit practice as Peter Howard-Jones Ltd. Mergers and acquisitions, bank and equity finance and company re-structuring and audit including charities are all specialist areas, where Peter has a proven track record of success.
Liz Hooley - Solicitor, websters
I provide legal and capital taxes planning advice to clients of the firm and on related matters internally within the firm.
My main area of expertise is advising on inheritance tax issues including the setting up of Wills, trust arrangements, deeds of variation and a full probate service. My expertise also extends to setting up companies together with a full company secretarial service, limited liability partnerships, ordinary partnerships and charities and can provide a full range of legal agreements and contracts for these different entities.

I have worked for a number of aviation businesses, initially as a pilot of commercial aircraft and then in senior management positions. Employed by Air UK/KLM UK, GB Airways and Qatar Airways I was able to see at first-hand how to deliver value in a fast-moving, competitive sector by combining a total focus on business detail with an awareness of strategic objectives and tactical opportunities.

Blue Lizard Marketing is run by Claire Elbrow. Claire has over 20 years’ experience in marketing and PR and has freelanced for over 12 years. During this time, she has built up a ‘virtual’ agency, working with other expert freelancers to offer a full service agency experience to clients. The difference is that each freelancer has the ability to ‘dip in and out’ of each project as needed, therefore reducing costs for clients but ensuring each activity within their project is run by an established expert.
